This Puller has an Overall Length of 85mm and is designed with a thrust bearing
to ease the pulling action. Used for the proper extraction of rail pins from cylinder head.
Especially useful in restricted spaces where other pullers and slide hammers will notfit.
Comes with a 6mm extractor pin.
Applicable: Mercedes
M102, M110, M115, M116, M117, M130, OM601, OM602,
OM603, OM615, OM616, OM617.
In the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder engines, this tool also removes the timing chain tensioners pivot pin, which is hidden behind a bolt in the front right (facing
forward) face of the cylinder head. It of course also removes all of the timing chain guide rail mount pins that are located in the left (facing forward) of the cylinder head, and down in the left face of the engine block. Extremely handy when doing jobs with the engine still in the car, such as headgasket replacement, timing chain tensioner replacement, or timing chain guide rail replacment. Works in all carbureted and fuel injected gasoline, and all diesel injected 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder engines as found in w108, w109, w110, w111, w112 chassis cars built in the 60s, as well as other models that use pins to secure guide rails.
